What is Activator/Low force instrument adjusting?

As an alternative to manual (done by hand) adjusting, our chiropractors can use a small, hand-held chiropractic tool. The most common of these tools is called an Activator. The adjusting tool is used to apply a fast, gentle impulse to spinal joints to improve movement.

Our chiropractors may use an adjusting instrument in conjunction with other techniques or as an alternative to manual adjusting according to individual needs or preferences.

At Family Chiropractic, our chiropractors will listen to your individual needs in order to select the most appropriate technique for you.
