Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT)
What is Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT)?
Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT) is a whole-body, gentle chiropractic technique that aims to bring stability and normal function to spine, pelvis and nervous system. SOT is based on the relationship between the nervous system, the sacrum (tailbone) and the Occiput (base of skull). It can be a highly effective technique to address acute and chronic issues of the low back and pelvis, as well as neck problems and cranial (skull) dysfunction.
People who have received care from a SOT practitioner will usually recognise the use of “blocks” to adjust and stabilise the low back and pelvis.
SOT Is a versatile technique that can be safely applied to people of all ages.
